I hope everyone had a terrific New Year! I have been quite busy with the farm and all the animals. Planting season is coming and I'm looking forward to it. The list of vegetables I'm going to plant is as long as my arm... LOL! Well, that might be stretching it a little. I thought it would be awesome to see some garden photos from 2008 garden. Strange, in 2009, I didn't take one photo of the garden, the produce, yes... but not the garden... LOL ... I will take some this year.
Garden 2008

This garden spot contained: Tomatoes, Squash, Onions, and Roma Beans!

This cucumber was the first of many to come... this species was Eureka!

Baby watermelon... this species is the seedless sweet!

These are Fireburst lilies I believe... The cross-pollination changed the features a bit though.

Marigolds... from the garden! Keeps bugs down, hearty plant and a pleasure to see!
Now for the produce from 2009

If you like Spinach, you will love beet tops! Very good source of Iron!

Beets are good too... I pickled some this year in pint jars.

Nothing wrong with fresh redskin potatoes... think of the french fries! Yum! Yum!

This tater is as big as my hand... Whoa!
I surely hope you all have enjoyed these pictures...
Make a garden this year! Get inspired!
God Bless You All!
